The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) on April 08, 2025, issued a notification regarding the display of QR Code, Font Size of MahaRERA Registration Number, and Website Address of MahaRERA in advertisements published by Promoters and Real Estate agents.
The following has been stated: -
•MahaRERA has mandated that promoters and real estate agent advertisements must display the QR code with correct aspect ratio and positioning in the top-right quadrant.
•The MahaRERA registration number and website address must also be visible, using a font size equal to or larger than the project's contact details, and in a high-contrast colour.
•Non-compliance will attract penalties between ₹10,000 and ₹50,000 per violation. Continued violations after 10 days may lead to further action under the Act.
